Robot woman from Japan does a catwalk!

Japan National Insititute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology (AIST) released a humanoid female robot, HRP (Human Robot Prototype) 4C. This is the Fashion world's first robot and she showed off her stormtrooper-like silver and black frame and bowed to a fashion-savvy audience at the start of the annual Japan Fashion Week in Tokyo in March.

The 5 ft 2 inch cybernetic human weighs 43 kg and sells for $200,000.

The HRP-4C humanoid robot bows on the runway at the Shinmai Creator's Project fashion show. When are we going to have male robots among the audience and making catcalls ? ;-)

Chewing gum can "enhance breast size"

B2UP, a Japanese manufacturer says that its Bust-Up chewing gum will increase breast sizes by 1 to 2 cup sizes when chewed 3 to 4 times a day. The gum works by slowly releasing compounds of Pueraria Mirifica. This magic plant contains chemicals called phytoestrogens - natural compounds which mimic the effects of the female sex hormone estrogen. Traditionally found in Thailand and Burma, it helps to keep the muscle tissue in good order. According to the manufacturer, tests carried out by Thailand's Chulalongkorn University found Pueraria Mirifica therapy could enhance breast size by 80%.  And it works for 90% - 95% of all women! If true, that is certainly a wow result.

Highly fashion conscious Japanese women are increasingly taking to cosmetic belts to shrink their heads.

 

The five-pound belt can be worn around the head while sleeping. The makers of the “Small Face Make Belt”, called as the Kogao Meiku Beruto, claim that it will help in shrinking the size of the heads over time.

 

For just 855 Yen you can shrink the size of your head, slim the cheeks and iron out that double chin!

The craze for the wacky gizmos has been sweeping Japan for quite some time and this latest fad, in my opinion, is very arresting to say the least. The Japanese seem to have a very clear idea of how they want their faces to look.  Perfection as always !
