Tokyo's Maid Cafe

Tokyo's cafe scene has evolved over the past decade with newer and even more weirder innovations. Take this "Maid Cafe" revolution for instance. Akihabara and Shinjuku precints in Tokyo sport "maid cafes" where typical manga-style maids serve tea and cakes. The idea is that the customer is more than king, infact he is the master. And so when a customer enters the café, the maids typically give a flattering greeting such as "Welcome home, Master" in order to play the role of a house servant.

Staff sometimes kneel on the ground to mix sugar or milk in teas or other drinks. If the customer feels at home and in a relaxed ambience, then thats what these "maids" want. For me, all this sounds a bit too much but hey they are doing great business and these cafes are always more than full. In the land of great customer service that Japan already is, maid cafes represents something that is beyond the imagination. Customers and especially otaku people love this role-play.

Some Maid Cafes provide additional service like hand, foot or shoulder massage and even will take a photo with you or play manga games all at a price ofcourse. Anything to entertain patrons and win over stressed out customers, huh ? Anybody here been to a main cafe ? Care to share any stories ?

Japanese Woman Prepares Tea

Interesting Youtube video here where Japanese Women of the Women's Federation for World Peace dance and sing, and introduce a traditional Japanese Tea Ceremony at a Highschool in the Republic of San Marino in Europe.

Another video below of Japanese woman preparing tea and then showing a man how to properly drink it. The video is in Japanese and it shows a wide array of tea making tools which appears to be a traditional way of doing things. Nice to see old tradition being maintained and practiced. Enjoy.

Bento box skills of a Japanese housewife

This is wonderful stuff. Bento is a single-portion takeout or home-packed meal common in Japanese cuisine  . A traditional bento consists of rice, fish or meat, and one or more pickled or cooked vegetables as a side dish. Now it is very common to see bento lunch boxes in convenience stores all across Japan, the real charm is the ability of Japanese housewives to make an visually appealing and appetising bento box.

Bento can be very elaborate, aesthetically pleasing cuisine arrangements. The food is often arranged in such a way as to resemble other objects: dolls, flowers, leaves, and so forth. Just take a look at these pictures of bento boxes. I salute the Japanese housewives. Just looking at these lunch boxes makes me feel wistful, hungry and be charmed for life:-).

Japanese girls' boobs are booming

Excuse the crude headline, but that is what the research done by the Japanese lingerie maker Wacoar shows. Apparently the boob size of Japanese girls is increasing! In other words, 12.7 percent of Japanese girls are kyonyu (the owner of big boobs) from the earlier almost 0 percent. It is hard to say whether this increase in breast size can be attributed solely to breast enlarging massage but one theory doing the rounds is that larger the girls, the bigger are her boobs. This should set the cash registers of junk food companies ringing.

         
        

                        

It is the Gravure model Fuko who more than anybody else leads the pack of breast boomers. Check out this freakish Youtube video where a doctor measures and feels up Fuko's breasts.

Not surprisingly Fuko has landed television appearances all thanks to her 120 cm P-cup breast. Though this size might be out of this world, it is clear that the Japanese girls have given an ultimatum and the guys are all waiting.

My Chopsticks bra

Continuing on the lingerie theme of my previous post, here is an imaginative and slightly erotic lunch take on the bra. Made by Triump International, the makers of fancy undergarments, the "My Chopsticks Bra" comes equipped with a pair of collapsible eating utensils, along with two bulging bowls containing replica rice and miso soup.

 

It is hard to decide which is cuter in the above picture, isn't it ? - the model or her assets. There might well be a rush to get a quick slurp or a naughty nibble off the boob bowls. Naughty gift for your girlfriend , eh ?
