I know the headline is cheeky but there is a culture angle here to understanding Japanese women that might well be useful to a lot of people interested in this subject matter. A lot of this subject matter was new to me also and it was with more than a considerable pleasure that I came across this lovely and informative website mynippon. I'll try and illustrate some of the major points here.
1. Culturally, Japanese
women, in most cases, are extremely polite. So if they happen to accept your offer of a drink in a bar, you can put that to politeness and nothing else. Watch out for those cues.
2. Never try to 'come on' to a Japanese woman. The best way to "win" her is to position yourself in such a way so as to put the ball in her court, so to say and let her take the process forward. So position yourself as a serious student of Japanese language/music/food/art or anything else that she is
interested in. While you show your genuine interest in her, give her time also.
3. Be generous with your praises. That is something the Japanese society in general and the ladies in particular are not used to. If you praise her beauty and you are a foreigner, then you are well on the road to charming her.
4. Japanese women experience a lot of freedom when dealing with a non-Japanese and are more at ease, so to say. This is her chance to show her wild side. Easier said than done but use that to your advantage.Go nuts!
5. Help those lovely Japanese ladies along the way. Understand their indirect signals of interest. Japanese women do not show any direct signals but their indirect ones are pretty easy to identify. Some of them are - a dinner date on a weekend, a date closer to your residence, a date in a less crowded area like a park or lake, suggestive dress on a date, late night phone-calls, etc.

Hello,
I'm doing research on how American foreign policy affects popular support for terrorism. My theory is that America’s hegemonic activity fuels popular support for terrorism, but I need data to support that hypothesis. I plan to conduct a large international survey in order to collect that data. Before I conduct the survey, however, I need to devise a survey instrument that is non-biased (non-western, non-white). I strongly believe that the biggest reason that America is losing the war on terror is that we aren’t listening to the people that matter the most—everyone else. The same principal applies to my survey: it won’t do any good if I’m not asking the right questions.
So I’m asking for your help.
I’ve put together a pre-survey questionnaire to help fashion a survey that hopefully will ask the right questions― one that takes culture, race, religion, and gender issues into consideration rather than just making the same old geopolitical assumptions that political scientists in my field tend to make. I’m particularly interested in incorporating the views of women, non-whites, and people living outside of America and Western Europe. The final survey will go out once the pre-survey data has been collected and analyzed.
The survey can be accessed at

Would you please post the link on your site and ask your readers to do the same? I'd really appreciate it if you shared the link with others. But most importantly, please take a moment and fill out the pre-survey yourself.
Thank you!
Take care,
John Maszka

Interesting post you have in here. This is a good approach to seduce Japanese women because it helps foreign men to be enlighten on some of the qualities of Japanese girls thereby avoiding misconceptions. Hope you can share also about what Japanese women like in a guy.
Thanks for sharing this post.
