Japanese lingerie makers are pushing forth new environmentally friendly bras that will surely boost the green-esteem and self-esteem of women. Their latest offering is a "Photovoltaci-Powered Bra" featuring a solar panel worn around the woman's stomach that can generate enough electricity to charge a mobile phone or an iPod with light exposure.
The sexy upside to this green venture is that the drinking cups attached to the bra cups makes the breasts look larger according to the models. All this in the name of reducing consumption of aluminum cans and plastic bottles.
Eco-friendly products are gaining popularity in Japan, and the solar energy bra is just the latest installment in the company's line of sustainable undergarments.
Another whimsical offering is a "no shopping-bag bra" that rearranges into a shopping bag. The bag parts fold up into the cups, serving as “extra padding”, and the lace and ribbons become decorations and ties. Now, isnt that how bags are supposed to be !? ;-). "M'aam , let me hold your bags for you!" now takes on a whole new meaning.
